I was lucky and picked this up for $20 when it came out. I was looking forward to this game coming out for a while because it seemed different. Well, it isn't as good as I was hoping.

Graphics: The graphics are pretty good, but not ultra realistic. Everything is clean, but some things seem cartoonish to me.

Sound: The sound is pretty good, especially if you have surround sound. You can hear gunfire and people yelling around you.

Gameplay: Well, the premis of the game is there are two of you. You start out as an Army Ranger, but then get hired as a mercenary. You work as a team to accomplish objectives. Your partner can be a computer controlled character or you can have someone with you via split screen or online. It is more fun playing with someone else, though, I've only been able to try that out twice. Anyway, through the game you can upgrade weapons and armor which is sorta interesting. It was interesting at first how you do teamwork. One person starts shooting at bad guys and draws their fire while the other guy can sneak around. It gets really old after a while, though. It seems like you just keep doing the same thing over and over with different surroundings. I did the game on the hardest level and it wasn't really all that hard. I'm horrible at games, too.

Online: I've only tried it once and it didn't work very well. There was a lot of lag and you have to be careful because you have an open mic. The guy I was trying it out with must not of known that because he was yelling at someone in the background and was using colorful metaphores. The lag wasn't one of us, apparantly from what I've read, EA has issues.

Bottom line, I'll give the game a 6 out of 10.

I have had a better experiance than that overall, but I have not finished the game yet. It is not that long of a game, but it does have re-play value with all of the different weapons that you can buy and upgrade in different ways. I had fun looking for the extra objectives as well.

Nuff said.

I've finished Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. Short review - really good! Long review will show up later on my MySpace.

Still working my way through Resistance: Fall of Man. So far though I'm not all for that "Rar! Scary thing jump out and get you!" style of FPS, and I'm not all that into playing an FPS using the PS3 controller. But if you're in to that, it's probably not that bad a game.

My sister is bringing her PS2 to me next weekend and I'll be hitting up amazon.com for Destroy All Humans 1 and 2.

I'll agree that FPS games aren't as fun using the PS3 controller. I like a keyboard and mouse much better.
