I read that you guys were experiencing high CPU usage with 118 and because of that have gone back to 116. Well 119 is out now and the changelog lists the following info...
Code:
============ Version History ============
============ for UT2004 ================
Version1.19
child monster bug fixed
Version1.18
child monster bug fixed
Version1.17
fixed warning log spam
can't vehicleoverkill to Queen and Titan
Version1.16
Queen's Location of Teleport bug fix
Maybe he fixed it this time.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

It caused a huge growth in cpu usage for the server and the clients. We had to remove it because it made everything jumpy, and for some players they could not play at all...

No... I tried turning off olstats, nali's with link guns (which spam the logs to no end), and giant gasbags. The odd thing about this all is that not only does the CPU usage increase, both server and client side, but the network traffic shoots up as well...

Have you ever tried v117 of satore? According to the readme it was in version 117 that he fixed the spam in the server log. If I were to revert to a previous version I would probably want that one since I hate server logs of epic size.

I wish I knew where to download 117 by the time I saw the update he had already moved on to 118

You can go to
http://uz2.gameservers.net/ut2004/
and search for satoreMonsterPackv117.u.uz2
Thats the compressed file and the only difference between all the latest releases has only been changes in the .u file itself.
Up until a few days ago you could still download it from satore's website by replacing 119 with 117 in the non umod download link. Guess he finally tossed out the old files.
