I don't know if the following has been pointed out alredy:
- You don't get double/multi/mega/giga/tera kills in vehicles. They get announced, but they don't show up in F3.
- When linkchain boosting a turret, only the head of the chain is getting XP. I thought it was divided between players... Everyone in the chain was an engineer.
- Armor vampirism does not work when you are in either of the Hellbender turrets (not sure about driving seat, hard to tell).
- I am "out of bounds" in palladin half the time, no matter where in the map I am. (basically, if a monster is not shooting me, I get "out of bounds" msg)
- You can spawn-kill a fellow player with palladin (sorry guys!). Meaning you can spawn it on a player and the player dies. I've done it twice by mistake, never happened with bender, scorp or the toilet car. With other stuff It usually says there is no room if someone stands on your trans.

Chains are not supported. The release note saidWhen Engineers link to turrets, they get a share of the damage xp, provided the turret hasn't been healed in the last second. This applies currently to the Minigun turret, the Energy turret and the Ball turret ...... Only applies to Engineers, and not when they are in chains.
So, Engineers share the xp if they are directly linked to the turret, with their short range link. So no hiding.

In order to stop sentinels getting Armor vampire, I put a check in that the vehicle had to have a driver. So, question - when it didn't work from the turrets, was there a driver of the vehicle?
(perhaps the check needs changing so it checks something else other than driver to ensure it is not a sentinel. Depends how much a problem people think it is)

Vehicles spawn where the trans is. Throw a trans in the air and summon any vehicle, it will fall and crush your team mates. So, you need to be careful.
On a spawn, it checks a certain area to ensure it is clear for the spawn. The same area is used for all vehicles - the purpose is mainly to stop you spawning vehicles in corridors. If the paladin is larger than this check zone, it could still spawn?

Thanks for clarifying the issues.
So XP wise it is best if everyone links directly to the turret. How about healing speed of the turret and boosting damage? Does it matter if engineers make a chain or if they do a direct link? I thought it does so I encouraged others to make a chain, but looks like I have been wrong.
I think the vampirism does not work even if someone is driving the bender, will check on that to be sure and report later.
I am aware that you can spawn vehicle in air, but my trans was on the ground both times and I as I pressed "U" to build someone just walked over/near the trans and got killed. And I alredy got some miss-spawned palladins (stuck when spawned alredy)

Yip...even better xp if non engineers link too to keep the health up.(as boost only occurs with full health)
Correct me If Im wrong but I believe the intention was so engineers links could further modify(boost) a construct..In this case the turrets so in chains the links only heal (adding up regardless of if Im not mistaken) and boosting (and xp) is only at direct contact
Multiple (direct)Engineer links also doesnt mean more xp per person..a bigger boost but xp is reduced....
So..Unless corrected I believe that answers the Question.

The Hellbender turret vamps, but get this: it vamps if engineer is driving and anyone else firing the turret. It does not work the other way (the person with vamp has to drive, but the person who actually vamps is the one in the turret, no matter if he has no armor vamp, eg weapons master).
Thanks for moving this where it belongs.

Bug: In the Mothership Assault map (sorry don't remember the exact name), first stage has all players in Space Fighters. Engineers (and probably other classes) who have purchased the Vehicle Ejector Button skill get ejected from their Space Fighters when it is destroyed.
... This amounts to a very long wait time between when your space fighter is first destroyed and when you get another one (you have to be counted "out of bounds" while floating in space twice before you are killed).
Could we add an exception to the Vehicle Ejector Button skill so that it doesn't apply to Space Vehicles?

Fixed bug in armor vampire that stopped it working for HellBender turrets.
Fixed the same bug in armor regen, so it will also work in HellBender turrets.
Fixes will be included in the next build.

What if vehicles couldn't be spawned in the air. Would that solve part of the problem?

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

Could be done easily enough. Do the same as for turrets - trace down to the ground, then go up a bit.
