Meaning Its helpful should one accidentally be dodging and end up hearing that echoing "Invisible!" or "Speed!"....cus then u dump and can possibly pick up ur adren losing only 25 or 50 in the long run
When it come to things like tossing after berzerking I dont think this is an abuse either..cus well you toss ur adren so u dont use it up pointlessly..but it doesnt mean ur the one who will get it ( you have to wait till it runs down to 0 from 25 adren ) In that time ppl can come by and snatch up the adren cus its there for the taking
In the end you still lose some of the adren
Anyone thinks adren toss is abused?...

I don't toss adren at all 'cause I use it all for berserk and MWM upgrades. When I see a player dumping adren, I just leave it alone since I figure it's for someone else or the player is leaving and another player probably needs it more than I do.
I've not noticed someone dumping adren just to stop the clock (usage), but then, I don't have time to watch. If dumping and picking up just to stop the clock is an issue, then perhaps the admins need to step in since that type of action could be considered "cheating".
However, I do agree that we do need something to stop the berserk mode when the wave has ended and not have the mode running thru the 10 seconds or so for the next wave.
I thought that invisible, speed, triple damage, etc could be stopped by re-keying the combo again!!!!

They can?.......oops...never knew that..b4 adren toss..Id just wait ti out...or use a healing blast b4 it ran out (make use of it)
Well....uuh....then scratch that form the list.. .....wait...Triple is artifact.....speed and inv are combos..i kwno u can rekey to stop triple..but....not the combos....
...Can I hear a 2nd opinion?.. ..
Also I use it sometimes if an AM needs adren and Im filled and not using it...

I have truncated these definitions but essentially, if the person who programmed the ability to drop adrenaline did not intend for it to be used in this way, then it could be viewed as an exploit.
I did not think that this was the case originally, but that seems to be the case.

I don't see why accidentally enabling Invisibility or Berserk, or any combo, can be considered a balancing factor. Just because the stock game didn't include the option of ending your combos doesn't mean it's an exploit to do so.

The answer is simple. The code was changed to drop adren not turn adren on and off.
If people are dropping adren to stop a combo and pick it up again, as if as it it was turned off, it seems like an exploit to me.

I actually tried this technique last night to see if/how it worked as for berserk its not worth the effort you end up losing adren
and its 25 (pill) at a time that you lose so your wasting anyway unless you time it perfectly .
as for speed,invis combo I can understand wanting to stop those if unwanted the game won't let you 'one key key-bind' them so its not like your one-keying them away you take the risk of losing some adren along the way
having max adren for my medic I would hate to accidentally go Invis at max adren and not be able to get rid of/stop it but I've never done it accidentally.though I can see how it could be an exploit but not a particularily useful one IMHO

Well...Hmm...actually there IS a way to stop combos other than drop adren and not lose any more....
Its called: Get in vehicle or torrent..It stops all combos..( I realise this cus As engi i use regen combo alot..but have to wait outside turret for it to work.)
I think combos should also be stop cus come on...if a player has 250 adren...starts combo....it gonna be running for loooong....especially if the player is an AM cus then they cant use some fo their artifacts without maxed adren
So by definition ...This is an exploit as it wasnt its orginal intention (though it can be extended to be depending on the total view)..but....is stopping adren combos good or bad?..Cus every player can do it...Thoughts?...
