Yea, my office definitely looks just like those of my tenured professors in college... stacks of books, piles of papers and mounds of magazines and tech journals, chip specs and manuals. Comes from having an office which is too small and 20+ years of stuff from work and my personal tech experience. Unfortunately, too much of it may end up just getting packed and moved, and sorted out as I organize my new office. Yet another thing which will set my wife off, but given the situation there, I am not going to worry about it. But, if things go the way I figure, both of those should be addressed within the next 12-18 months, when I might just end up moving yet again.

Well, it really reminds me of my office as well.

Keep putting stuff in the basement, but think it’s procreating.

I was in Appleton for a week at the PGI convention in August, beautiful town with some real good food. Went to USAIR up in Shawano while we were in the neighborhood. We stayed at a hotel that was technically in Green Bay I guess. Very southwest by the airport.

Older house, built around 1920, with my office being what is essentially a sleeping loft. Of course, there are times when the boiler keeps going when it gets very hot up here, and it feels like an Easy Bake Oven. And at other times, the opposite feels to be the case, as those windows are not the most energy efficient things, and it gets quite chilly in here. There are times I love those windows, but there are times I loath them. Sometimes too much light, impossible to put any real book shelves in here, etc. But sure is wonderful to listen to all the birds at the bird feeder when it gets a bit warmer.
