Just realized Brooks had this and the next book out in the Shannara series. Got Armegeddons Children and am about 1/4 of the way through. Anyone else reading/read it? What are your impressions? So far (and it seams he is joining the word and the void with shannara , but I haven't read word and void) I like it, it's the back story to the shannara series' Great Wars.

Well, I'm about half way through it and it's pretty good. He has scattered the story among about 5 different view points (so far) and you can tell they are all going to come together soon, but he does well with timing and tie in (as usual) so I give it a thumbs up so far.

OOoh! Yeah, I need to pick this one up. I'm a die-hard Brooks fan but haven't had time to start into this series yet. Glad to hear it's feelin like the rest of the series! Let me know when you finish it, mebbe I'll buy it off of you!
