Here are some photos that I took off of the coast on a boating trip a little while ago. Thought that I would share

This was about 10:30 at night.

(edit) oops the last one there is a December pic. That is near where I work, at about 3 in the afternoon!

wombat and i are headed out in few weeks for our 5 yr anniversary cruise. ill have to see if we can take some sunset pics. hopefully they will turn out half as good as these! very well done!

LOL look who is talking, I have seen the pics you have posted!

The non-winter photos it was around 55 at the time, the day was bright and sunny with an average temp of about 70.

In the winter photo, I believe it was around 15

Oh yeah - on that vein, I'm headed to the other coast after work today; diving tomorrow and taking the 30D under - macro shots!

This will be the first time that the housing and camera have been anywhere other than the pool or my tub (it was in the tub to rinse it off after the pool, honest).

Do you think it would be possible to get any pics of the northern lights?I'm not sure exactly where u r located, but if possible, I'd really like to see some!

Northern Lights are real hard to take pictures of. The best pics I have seen are on a rocket research site out of Fairbanks. I try to take pics of them every year, I cans post some but they are not much to look at. most of them look like a green smear on a black background.
