Shield gun causing instant death

Hi I think I noticed a small bug with regards to ghost 1.

Currently playing my low level LA with no resupply so I am using my shield gun a lot. Ever time I get ghosted while using the shield gun I die before I even finish ghosting with the death console saying,

"Micron threw his own weight around too often"

Does the shield gun fire once you are finished ghosting? And if it does wouldnt you have to be facing a wall for it to kill you right away?

(this of course wont be an issue once I finally save up enough to buy ghost 1, 2 after lvl 41)

speaking as someone who shield guns...whht lvl one ghost...yes...it does.....
What happens now is you ghost for x time..then teleport yes?...
Well what happens with ghost and shield guns is ..the shield gun keeps firing...and as soon as you teleport u instantly hit the wall and die....it has been sad death for me many a time..-_-*..this will not always happen..it depends on the lvl ur playing on....or map rather..so yeeah...
