I am fascinated by quantum theory and related subjects.

If you haven't seen it yet, rent the movie Primer.

It is a thought-provoking (confusing at times) look at the subject. I watched it three times back-to-back (it's relatively short), and I still don't completely understand everything that happens in the movie.

Very interesting stuff.

O I am so qeek it hurts. I am a proffesor of physics (The usual reaction I get from people when I tell them this is: RRRRUUUUUUN!!!).

So, yeah, I am fascinated with quantum theory, astrpohysics, thermodynamics and the fact that Micron somehow manages to live on his own in maps like Compressed.

I think that a particle must have a separate reality independent of the measurements. That is an electron has spin, location and so forth even when it is not being measured. I like to think that the moon is there even if I am not looking at it. [A. Einstein]

It looks like there are several Uber queeks playing here.

The best I can muster is being queek of many trades, while only having near mastered one or 2 very specialized tasks. Besides that I just read 1-3 random books each week, some fantasy, some scifi, some text books, lots and lots of trade or work manuals for all kinds of jobs or careers.

I just get bored with what I am doing occasionally and pick some thing new. the older I get, the less often I seem to need to do this.

Heck I have been on DC for over a year now so.......
what was I saying????
