Seeing images, video, hearing audio, or just plain reliving that day makes me ill, and very angry all over again.

Far too many people in this country have let the memories and feelings of that tragic day fade into nothing.

I will never forget where I was, what I was doing, and the exact sick feeling I had.

The moment this country forgets the events and repercussions of that day, is the beginning of the end of this great nation.

R.I.P. to those who were taken from us, and thoughts and prayers to those they left behind.

Being a former soldier who served 16 months in Iraq at the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom and who lost 14 friends there, I feel some people forget about this sacrifice that happens daily.
Lets not forget about the 4214 American's killed in action and the 33, 896 wounded who volunteered to protect this country in its time of need. That total is for Iraq and Afghanistan.

Im sure everyone knows a service member, Thank them for their sacrifice!

NEVER FORGET!

Alice and the Hatter: Quotes: Alice in Wonderland
Alice: What a funny watch! It tells the day of the month, and it doesn't tell what o'clock it is!
The Hatter: Why should it? Does your watch tell you what year it is?
Alice: Of course not, but that's because it stays the same year for such a long time together.
The Hatter: …which is just the case with mine.

yes it was a very sad incident... its even sadder when you actually study what happened and what took place (I am a student), and the plots that lead up to that day. If you guys were to really take into mind all the planning and effort that took place its a really mind blowing story, still very sad. Especially studying all the controversies... well you get the picture. And anger is not really the emotion to be feeling on this sad day, passionate and respect would be better, for anger is blind.

I was in gym class in middle school when I first heard what happened. Stayed at school, but didn't do anything but watch the tv in all my other classes..

I was sitting in the hospital in the recovery room with my now ex wife and her daughter (she just had a colostomy put in). While waiting it burst onto the tv in the room and we were glued to it in awe. It was Pearl Harbor all over again.

I could see the fire from my bedroom window.

Too many things went on that day and the following year to put into words.

My views have changed forever.

God Bless America.

I was stationed in Hawaii. It was my last night staying at the barracks because I was supposed to move into my house that day. My roomate barged into my room at 4am yelling that terrorists just attacked the world trade center. My ship was going through a modernization period, and was not ready for sea. We were given orders to report to the ship, where were then put on lock down. Our ship was in no condition to support a full crew. Civilians were not allowed into the ship yard. Since, we didn't have a working galley, all of our food had to come from civillian services. Our only food was candy bars from the ship store which was taking iou's. We had to sleep on the floor using make shift pillows. I remember not being able to make any calls because all the phone networks were busy. It was like this for the next two days.
