Probably my biggest suggestion is to make summoning monsters the same as summoning sentinels .. ie you select your artifact, deploy your trans and the monster spawns there.
Also, a way to transport your monsters around would be sweet (ie, that titan is stuck in the sniper post, you yank it out of there and throw him into the fray, out of the way of your teamates).
Also, tying Monster Points and Loaded Monsters into the same skill (like Loaded Engineer) makes sense too.

Well....Unlike your sentenals... Your monsters are more 1.portable....ie capable of free movment.....and dodging...and b) Capable of increased intelligence...
So..technically they ahve an advantage over the enginee sents..
so i dunno....
Thou I like an Idea of a regroup artifact...(ie ALL summon monsters will teleport to you location..) which sounds more practical than throwing monsters into the fray..(how wuld this work for lets say 1 brute...2 mercineries and one skaarj?.....how you d select which one to 'throw'...?)
so the 2nd idea sounds possible..the 1st one i wouldnt think wuld be that simple to do ..
And the 3 rd I disagree with cus well....Pets Do have some advantage over the sents...and shuld cost mroe?..(then again they are pretty pricy...heh ..Im gonna work on my damge bonus so the pets can actualy help out more.. ..)...
So yeah my ..excessive 2 ¢

Well, the system for placing sents works well, so why not it work the same way for monsters? It's more intuitive then the monster spawning "somewhere next" to you.
Only way I can think of the transporting monsters idea is a unique gun that only Loaded Monsters users get, click on your monster to store it, then spit it back out wherever you want. Could also use it to give directions to your pets (think the alt fire on the minelayer).
Your "Monster Teleport artifact" idea is a good one.

Recall.. ...actually...
And well hmm..there always the option of sending..ALL your summoned monsters to one point (where cross hair are..)...
Also..I have no quams with the summoning based on the translocator ..HOWEVER...This means that you cant run around and shoot while summoning your monster..(as i usually run around firing a rocket../link at myself/enemies...
IF it could be option if to use athe trans..and still summon otherwise it would be helpful..but it it was forced..thatd be a bother.....
(What about based on where your crosshairs are....)
PS..try not to overload the designers / coders..theyve go alot on their plate....hmmm..plate...i want food.. ...

With the current system, you need not switch to your trans to spawn a monster. A monster will spawn given enough room to do so.

Due to space issues this would be difficult to do and open to abuses or regular failures (that would of course lead to complaints that "it doesn't work"). Summoned monsters actually do occasionally teleport themselves much like regular monsters do.

What I believe he was suggesting is to change it form or add on to exiting one...and...controled summoning..(who wouldnt like that ..)..
But as you so rightly said..it would be....lets say ..complicated...
