Weird Al! YEAH!

Well, I didn't see any posts about it, but I know lotsa people on the server are interested in music in general. I saw Weird Al for the second time on Thursday night, and please allow me to say that he, as always, ROCKS.

The show was 2.5 hours without an intermission. Just like last time, the entire show, start to finish, was synchronized to the beat with the stage lights, and he changed costumes at least a dozen times.

There was one point where he did a montage of his songs that normally aren't montages, and he was singing for almost 30 minutes straight. There were more adult jokes than last time I saw him (right after Running with Scissors came out, in 2000). Also, he's added more of his Al TV interviews, several of which had us in tears.

The Saga Begins with complement of a dozen Storm Troopers and Darth Vader in full gear immediately followed by Yoda with extended vocalization section were also things of absolute beauty.

To end the whole thing, his encore was a slightly extended version of Albuquerque!

cKY!!....Yewah weird al does rock..never seen him in person but ive listend to many a song and watched many vids of his.....

He is truely the king of paraody..

I've heard that he puts on a great live show - missed him when he came to town last time but I'll make sure to go if he ever comes back this way.

I love that man...well, his work anyways. I have all of his regular albums up to...well, I cant remember... A few were stolen so I have to replace those.

Never saw him live tho...wish I could. Someday, maybe.
