my little back yard buddy jumped out of this lily while I was trying to take a close up of the flower. Just about lost all bodily function and dropped my camera! LOL. (BTW, body is about the size of the end of your thumbfrom the first knuckle)

Spiders are one of only two insects that creep me out.

its not an insect its an arachnid....like a scorpion...or tick

Tarantulas are just about the only spider I like.
But thats a neat lookin' spider.

Coolness! The best I can do that's similar to that is this:

Crawly creatures aren't always as cooperative as subjects sometimes.

I was impressed with myself when I realized I could make out the little hairs on the ants.

wow serious case of arachnophobia heh...well..i prolly dont have one cus we dont have any poisons creatures here..at all..most threat we got is monkeys..

and taratlas are kool cept they can hurt you without touching u..( the hair on their abdomen..they can shake of and they stick in ur skin...supposedly hurts ALOT..)

Yup - these are probably the best ones I have - and they were big too, so as long as they stopped for a moment I could snap a pic.

EDIT: I just remembered this one:

I got a few shots of this guy at one of the parks in the area. I used the flash on this shot to light up the web (some of the earlier shots, the web wasn't easy to see) and to light up the colors ... and his lunch.

I think they call them "banana spiders" down here.

rlly?i hear of spider liek that but that one is poisonous..and lives in brazil..called so cus it likes bananas but not help who pick em..:/..
but eh ..i guess that why we have scientific names for..that ..and to confuse us..:S..
