Installation Error Help

Ok so I'm trying to install AVP2 onto my system.
I'v had it before so I know it worked on my computer but I had to uninstall it because I needed more space. Well I got more space so I decided to install it again. When i start installing it, it gets up to 8% and then I get a pop up that says,

Component transfer error
Component: Worlds
File Group: Worlds
File: E:\PREDATOR.REZ
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

How do I fix this?

Have you had problems with any other cd's? I ask because a cyclic redundency check sounds like a read type error on the cd. I would try getting a can of air and giving a couple of bursts into the cd to get any dust out, wash the disk itself with warm soap and water and dry/polish it with a soft cloth. A cd player cleaning kit wouldn't hurt if you so desire (or if your adventurous, take the cd apart and clean it manually). That may solve your problem.
