I'm looking at buying an LCD to replace my old CRT monitor. I don't know much about what to look for in LCD, so I need some help.
I'd like to get a 22" widescreen, or at least something in the 20" range.
Don't want to spend a fortune, so perhaps around the $300 mark give or take.
Not sure if my rig can handle playing at 1680x1050 or not.
Any advice?

I bought one from them and it works and looks great. I'm playing with mine right now. It has both DVI and AGP hookups

This is what I have:
http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/detail/detail.do?group=computersperipherals&type=monitors&subtype=lcd&model_cd=LS20HAWCB7/XAA
I'm using a DVI connection with it, love it to bits. I think I paid about $300 for it last year. I'm sure Samsung has something a little newer that is comparable.

I have the 2005FPW, which is an earlier version of this (same size):
http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-4688
Make absolutely sure that you're going up to a purely digital connection (that is, you have a video card that outputs DVI, and your monitor has a DVI connector). No VGA anywhere.
The connection is like the difference between VHS and DVD quality.
