Well, It's that time of year again. First full week in August, it's time for the anual pilgrimage to Sturgis, SD. Week of Bikes, Babes and Beer. It's where I lived for a number of years and I look forward to go back to every year to visit the homeland and friends.

Hope everyone had a good week of fraggin'. I'll be missin' the action, but hopefully not too much!

I used to have a bike (small 250cc Ninja) but sold it because I seldom rode it after we had kids... but they are nearing college age, so I may get another one in three years or so - then maybe I'll meet you at Sturgis

We're BACK! I tell ya, the trip isn't getting any shorter. 860 miles each way, and we hit rain for 300 miles going out there the first day, and a lot of fog, then heat the next. The week out there was the usual HOT. Didn't get to do all the things we planned one, but it was still a good time. The ride back was windy 'ell. 15-20 mph steady with 30 mph gusts coming out of the south. Then we hit rain on the last 150 miles when we hit Wisconsin. It had to be the worst travel weather I have had for this event in many many years.

Anyway, she took all the pictures of the 'hotties' and had plenty to drink. We got matching tattoos (our initials) on our arms.

We wont go next year as we plan on taking a trip to where she lived, Savannah, Ga. for the St. Patty's day party. That should be a hoot!

Sorry the weather sucked!! I want to go to Savannah for St. Pattys day...I'm from there too and haven't been back in years!!!
