Right now I have dead rising, and will hopefully get a multiplayer game friday.

My handle is mmik21 if anyone wants to add me. : D

Dead rising has really hard bosses, but I was given some tips last night to make them easier.

Well, due to previously mentioned trysts with Vista/Halo 2 for the PC, I have broken down and bought a Xbox 360, the hard drive, 2 wireless controllers, xbox exterior cooling fans, and the assorted cables for hooking up to the monitor/speaker system. Have I missed anything?

I was also able to pick up several games, including the Halo series dirt cheap (20 games for $80.00).

Any suggestions before I start hooking up the Xbox?

ok, what am I doing wrong?

I got the vga cable setup so that I could hook the 360 to my lcd monitor, briefly got to the language setup picture, and then nothing. I have the wireless controller in synch for slot 1.

Pc is off the entire time

Kinda.....I'm not used to console gaming, so I still have problems turning it on, exiting games (seems that there is no exit on the menu), and other minor things.

I find the easiest way to turn it on is by holding the center button of the controller. When you want to get out of a game tap the center button on the controller again and a menu will pop up, then press 'Y' which will bring you to the main screen. I've never hooked it up to a monitor though so I'm not sure if I could be any help there.

If i were you i would get GTA 4 or wait out and get Left 4 Dead.
