I was getting beat up by those red flies and their vampiric ways and I thought to myself "hmm, how 'bout a medic pet?" Maybe a good monster that runs around the world and just randomly heals people or senses when someones low and goes after them to give health. Or a pet that a medic can spawn that does said above.

I believe that somewhere in these forums, someone was once tossing around the idea of a Nali with Healing Sphere. It may not have its own topic though. And of course, whenever someone suggests a new pet, I'm going to support it.
/signed for healing sphere nali summon....or any other pet that
heals people, within reason.
On a semi-related note, are Monsters able to have Adrenaline?
EDIT: Nali actually might not be such a good idea, as they have a tendency to die from friendly medic fire, due to the fact that they are "immune" to magic weapons. A modified nali that was "mune" (lol) to magic weapons, or some other type of monster that wasn't a nali, would be better.

....i ..dont think they use adren somehow...i mean,..come on..imagine a titan with berzerk..o.0..scaaaary...
but yeah medic pets sound pretty sweet...but if you did that youd prolly have it so the medic doesnt gain XP from them healing (it wouldnt really be fair to the other new medics who wouldnt be able to keep up..with the healing frenzy)..
but yeah ..maybe we shuld ask Slazt ? if he can counter his evil red flies of doom........DOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!......ahem ok im done now.. ...

I was thinking a healing cow. Maybe put a medic cross on its side and have it run around nibbling at people giving them heals. Could even have other monsters that try to kill it and when it dies have it health nuke explode like medic deemers.

@ jason (mostly):
Actually, any healing monster that gets made (even if designed as a pet) will probably make the game harder, not easier. Why?
Somehow, someday, it will be implemented as an enemy. No more whittling down monsters over 15 minute periods, they'll just be healed. Hunting down the healing enemies will have to become part of the game, assuming one gets implemented.

I like both ideas... having a healer for the monsters would be rather cool, but so would having a little Nali cow nibbling at your feet

yeah both ideas would be pretty sweet....but the healing pet for the bad guys should be more than a cow.....it should be like a warlord that shoots a nonstop stream of flak that has like triple beserk >

Healing pets for good guys is a good idea as long as:
Medics can summon them *and* get XP for the healing they do.
Anyone else's ability to summon them is sufficiently rare to not have major impact on a medic's ability to make XP.

Hmm... pets that heal other people, a good idea. Also like the fact of a monster healing other monsters... possibly a nali that would go around healing individual monsters or in the harder waves a nali that would heald hordes of monsters (an idea)
But my main topic is if the medics could produce poison blasts to weaken enemies, the blast itself would deal no damage but the poison would. After all it is a medic class and shouldn't they have power over poison too? Could it be a blast or from a pet like a nali cow on wave 2?
For example a medic can spawn a nali cow and once it dies it gives off a poison blast, would be really helpful when the medic is high level and the only one alive since none of his monsters actually do piercing damage... it would give the medic more of a chance to survive without actually making it more powerful.
Also the I've not seen AM's use this artifact, actually at all... its more of a useless artifact to them, inculding me I never use it. So why not give this artifact to the medics where it could mean the difference between losing a game or winning it...
The poison blast could be 100 adrenaline especially since the medics dont have adrenaline surge or adrenaline leech, only adrenaline drip. Or possibly less adrenaline required possibly 75, idk just guesses.
Any ideas?

What a good idea.
On Monster Mash there is a miniboss titan which heals when you shoot it with superweapons (it's got radiation symbols on it, so the idea presumably was that the radiation from the super weapons powers it up).
Bad idea factor: Players intentionally shoot it with superweapons so they can farm more experience off of it.
I think if you wanted to make a "healer" monster the only way to do it without it being abuseable for experience farming would be if the "healing" was more like a shield factor. For example:
ClericMonster does his "Heal Ally" move - Ostensibly this restores X health. Instead of actually adding health, instead it adds an inventory item subclassing Armor. The inventory item negates up to X damage, then expires. And even doing it this way I'm not sure it would solve the exp farming issue.
