Had a serious misfire last night.

This used to be a beautiful 5"ID mortar, but one of my bagmines went badly. That is an HDPE pipe, which is the preferred mortar these days because when a shell blows inside no matter how badly it mostly stays in one piece instead of sending shrapnel all over. If this was a fiberglass or PVC mortar it would have been the worlds biggest grenade. These pipes tolerate enormous pressure, I can't tell you how big this explosion was but I found the mortar this morning when the sun came up more than 100' from where it was before the kaboom.

i guess this is why you should be more than 100 ft away...o.0....behind things.....that are behind bigger things...that are behind BIGGER things...hat you can duck behind...

on the other hand explosions are prety..:S......dangerous but pretty..
