hi and thankyou by the way love the druids stuff

but i have noticed there is no engineer class on the downloadable one or any of the other cool stuff is there anyway you can post or send the engineer class and other stuff and how to put it in the ini because it will be greatly apreciated and i can get you aload of monsters and other things because i am good friends with buffytheslayer off the epic games forums because she uses my server alot thankyou if you can do me this favor

Sorry ... Druid doesn't provide the latest and greatest version as a download until it's out of Beta.

If you stop to think about it, Engineer is still technically in Alpha - it's not even available as a purchasable class on Disastrous Consequences (most of the engineer specific code has been set up as disabled). All the other new code that is being used on DC is considered mostly Beta.

Druid has said that Engineer definitely needs another test run. This requires that Druid have the time to set up this test run (which is usually only good for a weekend and involves folks playing midbie/high level engineers).

So basically he's not going to release (IOW, offer for download) something that isn't ready to be released.

You'll just have to wait until the developers are done and we're happy with the results.

so in other words its never going to be released because the new unreals coming out so can someone just send me the "beta" then because someones made it and i played for like 3 months and was engineer class and didnt have any problems

Chances are we're not switching to the new unreal "right away".

No one in the development group will do what you ask. Mainly out of respect to Dru - it's his mod, he determines when a version is "releasable".

If you really want it that bad, dig through your UT2004 cache (or get a cache cleaner) and pull it out of there. But you're on your own figuring out the configuration options. Decompile the source and dig through it to figure it out.
