Are there any multiple-character users out there using some type of profile manager to switch between user.ini files for their separate characters? I'm looking for some manager recommendations.

I found Agent ini at http://www.agentini.com/ and it seems useful but does not include the 3rd party characters and crosshairs I use.

I recently figured out that if you manually do your keybinds, you can get away with pipes (|) in a sequence (originally I thought it was limited to aliases, and I ran out). So, for example, I have:
Code:
End=setname (DC)BotFodder|set input r SelectTriple|set input w DropAdrenaline
PageDown=setname (DC)BotDoctor|set input r SelectHealingBlast|set input w SelectMedic
PageUp=setname (DC)BotBooster|set input r SelectDouble|set input w SelectBeam
In my keybinds.
So it depends on to what extent you want to change your bindings. I've got most of my keys that my fingers are close to set up for weapons, and I'm used to that. I wouldn't remap too many keys between characters - it takes too much to keep track.

that's a lot better than what my solution was. recently I've had different INI files for each character. Then I replaced the file everytime i wanted to change a character. wasn't very efficient.

Thanks for the replies, I've been on vacation and was unable to get back to this. What I really want to do is automatically load a specific character and skin when I launch the game, as I use a different skin for each char. The Agent Ini manager can do this but is limited to only the original skins that came with the game.

I'm SURE you could change character models in keybindings as well. Just set it up so your name AND character model change with the same button. <_< Actually, I think I learned that somewhere on this site. Should I look for a liiiink?
...naw, I'll just get the code. It's a sticky topic about keybinds and everything one level up. Includes mention of changing crosshairs.
Code:
H=changecharacter gorge
j=changecharacter trooper
NOT that this deals with replacing ini files or anything, just random parts of 1 ini file. The '|' bit was actually helpful information for me, I can now do what you were planning to, though to a much smaller depth. I don't intend on making commands to set certain keys to activating certain artifacts/skills or anything, just the name and skin really. <_< On that note I'd better go and decide on a skin to use. XD Not that it REALLY matters beyond making me happy.
