Cant decide whether this is a DruidRPG issue or just UT2004RPG. I'm running Druidv200 and UTrpg2.2. I've gotten complaints from some players that in the middle of a wave all their weapons disappear except shieldgun. Pushing the number keys or weapon scroll key does nothing and they cannot pick up new weapons. It remains that way even after going to the next wave. However if they suicide or die and have ghost, once they come out of ghost the weapons reappear as normal. Anyone seen this before or know what the trigger might be? Thanks in advance.

The cause seems to be network related/packet loss. I hear people complaining about it every once in a while, but not like it use to be.

No not that issue....we occasionally see network related stuff as in that thread. These weapons are not available when they disappear. Folks with Loaded Weapons lose all their weapons except shieldgun and it wont even fire....

At this point I'd have to say that's still a network issue - sounds like a replication problem. I've seen similar issues with not knowing what weapons I have but they usually come back when I scroll through them ...

this issue still exists on my server:

UT2004 2.2 and Druids200... other mods as well, but I'm not at home to post them... any information would be GREATLY appreciated... it seems to occur more for monster masters than any other class (I created one and holy crap this glitch occurs more often than not)...

it's not always shield gun that remains... sometimes, instead, it's translocator, or flak... it's random... sometimes the weapon fires, sometimes it does not...

sometimes there's nothing left... and sometimes you'll appear to have everything, and when you switch weapons, the weapon you were just on will disappear

solved my issue... the problem was being caused by Sentinels v24 (originally part of Weapons of Evil, by Mr. Evil... revisions 3-24 done by Vaptor) Vaptor seems to have stolen a lot of code from other people and implimented them into his own designs, and his skinning and programming abilities are next to none (I mean none... there is no one else out there that could do that bad a job)...

Based on principle that he probably is using stolen code without authorization, i downgraded to the original WoE sentinels that Mysterial originally wrote the fix for on 2.2 and it works like a charm... I can die as many times as I want to and never lose my weapons

Thank goodness... just wish there were better sentinels out there... Any word on getting 214 out to public any time soon, dru? I'd love to have that on my server <3
