Hey,

I'm thankful for all the work you have managed to put in the release so far. However we (at Death Warrant) would like to know when are you going to release the new version of the mutator. Although we do very much like the mutator as is presently, we have played it on our server and over at unreal insanity for a few months now (day in and day out). That is why we would like to see a refresh on game play. Is there any word on the release date yet?

Which one are you using?

200 was a very solid release. While I'm not one to speak for Dru, he might be waiting until there's a decision on Engineers - I get the impression that no one's been 100% happy with them yet. Also, we've been working on other mods that aren't "directly" part of the DruidsRPG mod: BotsCombos (which fixes the issues with booster and berserk, and has been implemented on DC), DCMonsters (which has altered game play significantly - Szlat Must Die! - but is still kinda in beta status).

So, until Dru pipes up with his words, all *I* can say right now is that there's not really a hard "plan" that I've detected when it comes to release cycles. I would also suspect that considering what I've done to DruidGhostInv.uc this weekend alone, I think we'll want to test another build for a while before unleashing it on someone else's server.

As the principle (sole?) developer of BotsCombos, I think you'd find it worth adding to your server, especially if you're playing with Medic/Monster Masters.

There is no current ETA. There isn't really a good reason to release it until the engineer is good to go. We will have another beta run on the engineers soon, so it will depend on how that goes. Other than that, it just depends on what happens in real life.

Thanks for the update!. I understand the issue with the game play, however i really doubt you will ever get very widespread acceptance. Although you should try to come close. Classes shouldn't be perfect, however the should fit in and not be too desirable. Its difficult to balance game play, and my primary concern is having a stable platform first.

We can support a test server, in fact we currently have one behind the lines so that we field test changes. If you want to test a new druids version we'll gladly accommodate you (this is our own machine). However I would have to contact the owner (who is part of DW) for a longer term setup.

Having a test "server" isn't the issue- it's (partly) the time required of the people who could test it and provide useful feedback. Thanks for the offer, though.

If you are really interested in speeding up the process, our best advice would be to get involved on our server and in the forums in identifying and fixing bugs.
