Skill point issue

Is anyone else having a problem where when they save points they end up losing some when they next gain a level? I thought it had happened earlier in my characters life but wasn't sure, now however, I am. I had 7 points left at 46th and at 47th I should have had 14 but instead I had nine. Not sure what is happening here, but just thought I would bring it up. I have already sent an e-mail to dru about it.

I have spent:
Weap sd 50
health 100
Damage Bn 50
Dam Red 13
Medic 1
Loaded Med 18
Exp Medic 24
load monst 20
Monst Pts 27
Monst Int 9
Which roughly adds to 313 pts I have 9 points left to spend which is 322 I'm 47th level so I should have 7*47 = 329 So I'm missing about seven points.

your counting level 1 you don't get points for level 1 so it's
7*46 not 7*47

No. I saved points for 23 levels and didn't loose a single one. I ended up spending them all in a rage of minor insanity... but the short version is that none disappear.

That's your problem. Calculations, not the server.

I still don't understand why I had 7 ponts last level and now 9 have when I gained the next level.

You may have "accidentally" spent points. Happened to me.

Basically, the focus of your keyboard has to be somewhere on the level menu. Mine usually ends up on Damage Reduction when I accidentally buy stuff. So, for some reason, you hit a button on your keyboard with the level screen open (my guess is the ENTER button... maybe you thought you were typing a message of some sort) ... and you bought 5 points of something. That may not (and probably is not) the case.

Skill costs may have changed. But I really really doubt this is the case.

You might have bought one of those new vehicle abilities... I think they cost 5 points as well. (14 - 5 = 9)

Or, I could just be full of myself and bad at guessing.

Actually I think that is exactly what happened K. Darn it, going to have to ask for a point reset. Gah was wondering why I had points in Damage reduction...

Well, I guess when I threw out a huge net (of guesses) it actually caught the problem.
