Congrats my sister! The 2 biggest questions of any job are as follows:
1. do you like what you are doing?
2. do you have fun while doing it (at least most of the time).

What are you doing btw?

Thanks for all the replies! I'm VERY excited. A few of you asked what I'm doing now....I'm not sure if you mean old job but I'll explain both. Right now I'm at a calling center where we contact people who've had service on their cars, but my job is in the office. I download customers the dealerships want contacted and stick them into our system so the callers can call them at night. Em, to answer your questions: No, I don't like what I'm doing. This is what gets Cham...no benefits, 5 days vacation (after a year of being full time) and 3 sick days. (Used to be 5 but some girl was abusing it, and even though she's gone now, its still 3) The owner is a psycho and there is WAY too much drama. I realize there's a small amount of drama to be expected, but...UGH!

Anywho, my NEW position is with Intermountain Healthcare. There are actually two positions open where I would be scheduling appointments, checking in patients, etc. One is in the OB-GYN office (which is the one I think I got) and the other is in an ear, nose and throat doctor's office. 10 paid holidays and 25 days sick/vacation a year starting the day I start, plus fabulous benefits!! Weeee!!!

I actually just got back from filling out all the forms, drug screening (man, I hate peeing in a cup then HANDING it to someone ) and a TB test. So, let's all hope nothing forms on my arm within the next couple days!

I'm just going to say that I can't stand the owner of that place. She is pure evil. She has no business whatsoever in owning that place.

I know the feeling. Every time I worked as seasonal retail at Legoland I had to take a drug test. It's just way too awkward walking out of the bathroom with a cup of pee and trying to find someone to take it o_O

Echoo, I guess we just have to take comfort in the fact that pretty much everyone will have to do it in their lives at one time or another. And be glad we aren't the ones its being handed to...or the ones who wish they had that job.
