Update on our Cockatiels

Well after over ten years the female, Nodder finally died. The night before she died, she was acting very sluggish and in the morning she went in her sleep. Thank goodness though. It's been almost a month now and Mac, our male bird, seems to be getting along ok. We have been thinking about trying to get him another mate to help ease his pain but sadly we haven't been able to afford to get him one. We also have been having a hard time to find a female that was about 2-3 years old. He's been spending a lot more time with me and mom. We know it was going to be harder on him than anyone else, but thankfully he has tried to bond with us more. Anytime we leave the room he'll start chirping until we come back. So, I thought I should just pass that on. May Nodder rest in peace.

I always wanted a cockatiel when I was little. I couldn't because my cats would've mistaken it for a meal
