I have a motherboard with three memory slots.
At the moment I have:
bank 0 - 64MB PC133
bank 1 - 128MB PC133
Bank 2 - open

I have the opportunity to put either a 128MB PC100 or a 64MB PC133 into bank 2, what would be the better choice since the 64MB is faster than the 128MB?

go with the 64. If you do the 128, all your other modules will drop to PC100 speed.

Hamish: "Your island"? You mean Ireland?
Stephen: Yeah. It's mine.
Hamish: You're a madman.
Stephen: I've come to the right place then!

Thank you.
So the extra 64MB boost isn't worth the slowdown in speed?

No, it's not. I'd go with the PC133, especially with your limited resources.
