Sorry, I didn't read the post rules very well............
Link: http://gearsforums.epicgames.com/archive/index.php/t-388320.html
I've played this map and it's fun to play. Please consider adding it to our list of maps.
Also, I've played DM-Sarigono and it can be challenging as well. Both maps are small, about 2 or 3 average city blocks in size. The link for Sarigono is

Thanks

I loaded up these for a second (gotta run, my dad's in town! )
I'd be wary of Sarigono for framerate reasons, but I do like the map.
I wholeheartedly second Unrealville with the same reservation. It could become one of theose really awesome combo sniper-close quarters maps with the way it's set up. It's like that map set in Italy where not only do you have a good sized street level, but you can go in all the buildings too!
The problem is it lacks optimization in the same way DM-Jungle does. It doesn't seem like your FPS should be having trouble, but it limps along a bit anyhow.

I'm all for unrealville as long as druid's anticamper keeps people form just sitting up on the roof of the tall building. That always got annoying.
Sarigono looks fun too. I can see some nice titan rocks bouncing all over the place.

I didn't have any problems with framerate on my old AMD 1800+ with a 128mb video card and 512 RAM. Both maps really rock with titans and warlords.

Yah, I have no problem with framerates on my latop. Now granted it is a pretty powerful laptop, I'm still running at almost max everything. I know unrealville doesn't lag with a full set of monsters running about, but I'm not so sure about Sarigono.

Huh. I'll have to take a look at my settings then (everything is maxed out completely, and my system can usually handle that easily.)
Lemme do some experimenting.

Well, I'd better not have any problems with framerate on my new pc........AMD 64 3500+ with a gig of RAM and a 256MB video card!!!!!

Demon, the only throttle I see there (if you have a newer chipset with that vidjo card) is the RAM, and that won't be a big deal if you don't run 3259653 things at once like me. I have an Athlon 64 X2 4200+, 4 GB PC3200 RAM, and a GeForce 7900 GTX w/ 512 MB RAM. It runs every map, even ONS, at max settings flawlessly except two...Jungle and this one. On those two only there's a minor but noticeable framerate drop.
So, the reason I said I was worried was that I assume it will be exaggerated on other peoples' systems. But! If it's just my rig, it's just my rig =)

Weird---I got rid of my old pc as it would not handle Doom 3 very well and could not play Quake 4 at all.............Yet no problems with either of those maps. Wonder if it's because I play with 800X600 setting and 60 Hertz refresh rate..........Dunno. However, when I'm playing, nothing else is open except for the usual background operations.
Tell Me Moof. Is that extra RAM worth the money?

It depends on how hardcore a computer user you are. 4 was overkill for now, but won't be in a couple years. 2 would have been fine; 1 (on my old rig) was beginning to be a bottleneck, especially in newer games with load times.
Also, unless you have the 64 bit versions of XP or 2003, the system can only allocate 2 gigs ram to the program stack (though the system uses all 4, only 2 get used for loading programs and stuff-the rest gets used for other data). The rest will have to wait for Vista.

OK, let's see how other people feel about adding the 2 maps, along with Dru & Shan.

I haven't played either map, but from just looking at the screens I really like unrealville. It's like urbanbayrev, but with more wide open spaces.
Sarigono looks interesting, but I'm not sure if it is great for invasion.

Sarigono used to be on the server, and was removed for performance reasons. Unrealville will be considered.
