Favorite Weapon

Since I haven't seen a poll on these forums yet I thought I would get the ball rolling with a classic question. And in case you were wondering I kicked it off with a vote for the Shield Gun.

since i'm a long range to medium range type of player i vote for....................

THE SHOCK RIFLE

!!!!!!!!!!! It's primary fire's good enough to be able to kill a 100 health player with 3 shots....plus it provides a slight knockback........and the shock combo is devastating too..........and fun to pull off.

I'm going for the classic flak monkey! Hi damage, good spread at medium and the flak balls rock if you can do a direct hit.

Being a weaps master w/ vampirism, I have to pick the minigun - it gets me out of low-health situations faster. 2nd favourite would be flak and 3rd is a tie between shock and link.

1. flack (short range)-agree with emetakleze plus it kills all types of monsters
2. mini (medium range)-backup to flack
3. Link (medium range)-when I'm bored with the other 2

Good damage, tracking ability, nice large area effect, spreads and spirals, rocket launcher alone is a versitile weapon, when you combine it with others, it becomes hard to beat.

This poll is going the way I thought it would, between the flak and shock rifle. While I did have a hard time choosing between the Rocket, Flak, and Minigun, I had to post my vote for the flak cannon.

Currently I'm playing my medic, and the flak serves a double purpose in there. It's primary fire repeats fairly rapidly for healing one person for a good amount of health, while the slightly slower secondary heals in a radius. Also, I tend to be a short-mid range fighter, engaging smaller targets at mid range with the secondary fire, and occasional taking primary shots at Warlord, Queens and Titans at a longer range.

I'd have to say my first fav. is flak...then comes the mini or link...then probably the shock.

Although I must say I'm trying to start using all my weapons a lot more often...I still find myself using mainly the flak or mini/link

Highest damage/second... (except grenades, but those are kind of a joke).

Ah, if only my resupply would give me more link ammo.

Of course, if this were any type of PvP, I would take the shock. But since we're talking about big, stupid monsters that don't dodge well, the link.

flak, no doubt.
but guesse i dont mind using any weapon, bio rifle being near to the bottom of my list though. (accept for sertain situations..

also i like using lightning gun on DC.. but not that much on any other place..

link can be very usefull, deals good damage and when you run into a team mate you can easily link up real fast.

mini has to charge and shakes the screen.. doesnt typicaly make it my favorite.. but still i like it because of its great fire rate.

also shock rifle is something i use, though not 'to' often.
often just to get combo [CENSOR] but thats about it..

I cant put my finger on just one thing i love about it but its just the best! Im still waiting for dru to make a vorpal mini!!! but you can give me an inf mini anytime!!!

I'm torn between knockback, sturdy, vorp, or vamp for the modifier... I mean naturally the infinite shieldgun (WtF, mate?!?) is the all-mighty, but if I had to choose an alternate one....yeah I just dunno.

For all-around, I have to give it to the flak.

I am curious why the translocator didn't make the list...
