SCA Members (Adrian Empire, Arma.)

Last week sometime, I don't remember which night or time, unfortunately, I heard a few people talking over the chat about the SCA, which stands for.... Society for Creative Anachronysm, I think?

Just asking since I know that there's a few DC players that live in Florida, and I was wondering if anyone's heard of the Adrian Empire? Or, if anyone's heard of ARMA (Association for Renaissance Martial Arts.

Sorry if this is in the wrong board, I just think it's really cool there's people on this server that are into the whole Renaissance thing like I am.

I was probably one of those you heard. I have been in the SCA for many years, having attended my first event back in 77. In all this time, I have lived in the Midrealm, and most of this was spent in the Barony Middle Marches (which at one point was the entire state of Ohio). The exception to this is a period of 89-93, where I lived in Shadowed Stars (Fort Wayne, IN). It is there that I have some friends who are participants in the Adrian Empire.
