Doppelganger on the Server? (Maybe Two, possibly more....?)

This situation may just be some bizarre coincidence, and probably is since I'm overly paranoid. Earlier today when I was playing, a player by the name of Icy entered, which is strangely close to my own name (I know mine is spelled wrong, there's reason behind it.

)

The weird thing is that there's another player on the DC server known as Void, whom I've known in real life for about.... 13 years or so. Last week while the two of us were on, someone named Vo1D entered, which struck both of us as being strange.

Once again, I'm probably just being paranoid, but have there ever been any doppelgangers on the forums in the past that like copying nicknames, or is is this all the aftereffect of being hit in the face one too many times by a Titan's rock?

Most probably it is because someone tried to use yours or void's name exactly and it showed up as "*_imposter", so they tried variations of the spelling untill they got one that worked.

Or, someone's after you.......DON'T GO TO THE BATHROOM ALONE! SOMEONE IS IN THE MIRROR CALLING YOU ON A CELL PHONE IN THE HOUSE.......

Don't sweat it, if it really is someone trying to dopp you and think they can break rules and get you hit because the names are so close, they are in for a suprise...

No tonight someone did it with Subie. "(DC)SueaDudeL.S." was spectating and said, " Subie. You suck."

This same person, (we think) also came in as hamberger! and (DC)Codebender.

I don't think that they are trying to get people hit. Personally, I think this person is just having fun getting under people's (like mine) skins.

Hmmmm.... I'll mention this in a different forum........thanks for the heads up, we'll keep an eye out.

We're banning the player that was impersonating a slew of people last night right now.

Thanks Dru, you guys try to make it a fun server to play on and when people try to make it not fun you guys step in and handle it right away. Thanx.

Ya awhile ago someone got on under 'pyro' and alot of people thought it was me. I havent seen them back tho...so i dont think they were trying to really do anything under that name...that i know of...
