Ive been looking around on UDN and Unreal Wiki and am considering trying to make a new HUD. The main thing I was going to try and do was to try and make artifacts easier to manage (more like how the weapons are done, each one could be assigned a key and favorite could be set up, as well as defining an order of preference ect..) Anyways after looking through the HUDs I couldn't find how the artifacts were being drawn to the canvas (went all the way back up to the Deathmatch hud which looks like it draws everything but the radar.).
I am also having trouble figuring out the Inventory system, obviously there are seperate inventories for adren health weapons artifacts ect but Ive seen no way of differentiating between them.
Something like this will probably take me forever to finish but if anyone knows the answere(s) to what Ive asked let me know.

Best place to start looking would be in the RPGInteraction class of the UT2004RPG mutator. "ViewportOwner.Actor.Pawn.SelectedItem" is the current artifact.
I have only tried doing a HUD mutator once, and I failed miserably due to replication issues between the server and client. Even the mighty Druid has got problems with his monster points. Don't let me put you off, but beware.

If you're looking in the DruidsRPG code, the artifact code wouldn't be there. You'll need to decompile UT2004RPG to get anything that was there before DruidsRPG.

Yeah, I found it.. now I just need time to work on it.
I'll probably have time next weekend to start on it, hopefully (got to turn in a card game program for school and the components arnt updating )

yep, I have an associates in "Computer Networking" and am going for a bachelors in software development.
Right now I have java, calculus, and "written analysis" which is an online class ;(

Haha, yeah. I'm (a month away from) 14 and have made a little four-year plan for getting my Bachelor of Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation (BSRTIS). It's about 153 credits, costing a little under 60 grand, not including books x_x. Fun stuff though, college.
