I've been trying to figure out where monster points come from, since it seemed like they appeared arbitrarily. I apologize for being frustrated....
As I was told, but could not understand due to these screenies, you have to level up the 'Monster Points' stat. Again, my bad.
But, as I went thru the forums and even looked at the DruidRPG code, I noticed 'Monster Points' were hard to find.
Perhaps 'Monster Points' variables should be initialized and should only be displayed for medic/summoners?
Thanks,

Enough Monster Points and adrenaline but can't summon?
Monster Points disappeared?
0/1 Monster Points... but never 1/1

The display is broken. You're seeing the monster points of someone spectating you.
It's baffling me how this is happening

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

Ah... so when monster points appear that's because someone is specatating you?! Is that the only scenario? And when they stop spectating you, do they go away?

No. I've seen other people's monster points when everyone on the map was alive. I have noticed that more than half the time when the points get swapped, they fix themselves when a new player joins.

Its simple to remember whats up, you have 1 monsterpoint allowing you to summon a Puppae i think. Unless you buy more skill in monsterpoints you cant summon much else it took me all of 5minuites to figure this out, Isnt hard its a bug thats easy to ignore.

Actually, it's quite annoying for the M/MM with MS.
Say I have 4 MP and level 4 MS - that's an Elite Krall. He's a good guy, a little weak, and sometimes gets over ambitious and wanders off. I can't see him on radar ...
Say you have another medic with 4 MP but they haven't summoned anything (and you'd be surprised how often someone's on with the same number of monster points as I have - I'm not exaggerating here).
Now, if my wandering EK dies, I'll know it mainly by seeing my MPs used go from 4 to 0. But what if I'm viewing the other Summoner's MPs? I think my EK has died, and I decided to take a moment to try and summon another one, and I'm told I don't have the MPs for it?
If I see a number other than my own, I don't jump to the assumption that my monster has died - I'm kind of sharp that way - I know it's the bug. But then how do I know if my guy has died?
I've had to ask if anyone's seen him. Feel kinda lame ... "Has anyone seen my pet?"
Oh and Dru I think I can anecdotally verify what Vortex said - I've seen other people's monster points when no one's dead.

If someone can PM me with info on debug tools I'm willing to try digging into it a little more. Alternately, if there is a test server available I'm happy to do some additional testing on a more superficial level without debug. With so many networked players as independent variables, finding the source in a live setting seems near impossible; I'll spend some time on it though.

Playing yesterday-nite as medic/monster master, I realized it's acting up on me, too. It showed I had 5/5 monster points. I tried to use 3 of those points and it said I didn't have enough monster points. I tried to use 2 and it worked. My adren was maxed out at 125 so I can't figure out why it would let me do the one for 3 monster points

I think I have a fix in 190 for this. I hope so anyway, otherwise I'm lost as to how this is happening.
The UT2004 engine isn't supposed to even let you see the values for an object owned by another client..
