it's not "on the way" that's the issue here.. it's the "home" that would be the issue...

I remember my mom getting worried about me getting home in 1 piece in my "early years". Once she left the front door open. I was not legal to drive, lets say. I was so parinoid that someone broke into the house, I had to check every room and closet while everyone was asleep. I was awake for over an hour listening for sounds in the house before I passed out.
