It shouldn't be a complete replacement for blast. Later waves I find it difficult to keep up with the wounded (bodies flying all over the place.) I will use a sphere at this point, because in the 2 seconds it takes to charge the blast, the wounded may bounce out of the blast area, or behind an object.
Sphere also acts as a beacon for the wounded to crawl to for healing. 


I do the opposite, adren lasts much longer if you do a blast every 10-15 seconds at the later waves and at the same time does way more healing, and when i'm doing that it does not matter if its a beacon because if they are not near me they are already dead and with a blast that often it is easy to see where the medic is (though i am usually in a tiny base with a bunch of people anyways). The problem i have with the sphere is that it not only uses a lot of adren, but on waves like the warloard wave, the sphere usually is useless at healing as the null warloards can do 50-100 damage a second. I would probably prefer if the adren use of the sphere is just kept the same at 7/second and the healing ability was just increased to 30-40/second (and that still makes it less effective than the blast).


And i also don't understand what is the point of having a minimum time that the sphere needs to run, all too often i turn on the sphere by accident and don't notice until it sucks up all my adren and i end up tapping the artifact to turn it off and it refuses, i would much prefer if there was just a minimum adren used by it and tapping it off early would just impose a small adren penalty (same for the tripple, but i can understand the exploits that are available with the tripple though most of those seemed fixed) and that penalty was somewhat less than leaving it running until the time was up (maybe just suck half the adren it would have used if it was left on until the minimum time was up)

Heh or double click the turn on button and turn it off and back on again and get hit with another period of time where you cant turn it off. >
