I run the Jet4 on my CPU. Looks like a jet engine. Uses the squirrel cage fan rather than the traditional type. But there are better ones and Zalman makes some of the best. To tame this prescott core, I'm thinking liquid cooling, but I cant afford it.

Good luck on the rebuild.

Asetek LCLC CPU Liquid Cooling System is $70.00 or so.

OK guys, I finally got my rig up and running WinXP but still have some more questions.
RIG SO FAR:
Asus EAX1900XTX video card.
Motherboard
Intel® Pentium® D Processor 945

I'm thinking because the motherboard is named P6NG Neo-Digital that it's DVI video port is Digital. Although I can hook my VGA monitor up to the VGA port and see the output, I can't seem to get any output through the DVI port using an adapter I bought off ebay. I also plugged my video card in and I couldn't get output from that either.

In my BIOS I can choose for video: PCI, PCIe, or Onboard video.
Set to PCIe: VGA works but my video card (which has two DVI ports doesn't work).
Set to Onboard video: VGA works but the MB DVI port sends out nothing.

The DVI-D adapter should have worked with the MB, perhaps I should have gotten a DVI-A adapter for the video card?

Once I get this figured out I write about my memory mess-up that cost me 3 days of testing.

You mean I really am important? How I feel when I'm drunk is correct?

You should be able to get video from the card to your monitor using the DVI to VGA adapter in the #1 (right, looking from the front of the case) slot. The #2 (left) slot is for the 2nd monitor.

-or-

did you run power to the video card? Most PCI-E video cards need an extra power boost--the power slot is on the top edge of the card.

If yes on both, then have someone check out the video card.

You may want to check to see if that converter works with some other known good system. You may have a dud converter.
