"Rapid Build"
Reduces the Build Cooldown on all Engineer artefacts by 10% per level.
Cost = 10,15,20,25,30 (100 Total Points)

Basically this allows engineers to build things faster. A 30s CD turns into a 15s CD at max level.
I like this thought better than just removing the timers.

Also, I've seen it thrown around that early on, Engineers are a bit too powerful due to the alt-fire of the Eng-Link. You could lower the damage for the Eng-Link to that of the normal Link but then add an ability that costs a bit of points to bring it back up to the current damage level. Something like 2 or 3 levels for a total of 20-40 points. It would stunt the early growth a little.
Its not just the alt-fire as that is not significantly different to the primary fire. It is the spawn-with-an-infinite-weapon. So quickly max weapon speed and do lots of damage.

As for the delay on Shield Regen, I dunno as I'm a mixed bag about that. On one hand it would be nice but on the other, at it current regen rate, it regens more then Regen 5 (5 Health vs 7.5 Shield). It would be nice if it would go all the way to the shield max of 250 if you had the points in Shields Up but for always having it running with no delay, I think It might be a tad Op'ed in its current form since Shields are slightly better then Health.
I think I agree with you about removing the timer, although it could be dropped from 5 to 3 secs. However, I think going up to 250 would make it too powerful.

The rapid build idea very nice Draco
However szlat the engineers already at its current state max out their characters around 368-370 while WM max out at 360. As you mentioned before perhaps it is a good idea to put in more lvls of loaded engineer and add another def sent. How about adding the manta or raptor? Those space maps could really use a raptor...
And I agree with reducing the delay time for the shield regen

Can we add a self destruct to the toilet car?
Has anyone played star control? The Shofixti has glory device on their ships. The alt-fire flips a switch, after you flip three switches (press alt-fire three times) the glory device self destructs the ship and hopefully takes out your enemy with it.
Put a toilet bomb on the TC, the player can then drive the car into an area with monsters, press altfire 3 times and run away, while the car becomes a charger (like the bunnies) and explodes in a deamersplosion.
It would be like having unlimited deamers, but would be really risky for the player to pull off, especially if the monsters are blocking the exits.

As for shield regen, I think the description doesn't explain the max shield regenerated. It only regenerates up to 10 shield per level
Leave the delay for regen. Instant shield regen would behave like damage reduction.

The Ball turret does 45 points of damage with a fire rate of 0.25 (the animation rate is 0.45)
The Energy turret does 30 points of damage with a fire interval of 0.30.
The Mini turret does 20-25 points of damage with a fire rate of 0.15
I don't know if FireInterval is equivalent to FireRate, but I assume that the energy gun is slower than the ball. For some reason the ball turret has a separate animation rate, which may lead to why it looks slower.
Thought I'd do some tests to check.
The Druid Energy Turret does 30-40 damage per shot, rather than the 30 of the standard energy turret.
The Druid Ball turret does 45 damage per shot.

The timing is a bit more difficult. Yes the FireInterval is pretty much equivalent to the FireRate, so the Ball turret should fire faster than the Energy Turret ( 0.25 compared to 0.30). However, the FireInterval seems to be affected by weapon speed, so the energy turret will actually fire at a rate of about 0.2. This should be slightly faster than the Ball Turrets 0.25, however in my tests both fired at about 0.22 seconds.

So the energy turret on average does 35/0.2 = 175 per sec
The ball turret does 45/0.25 = 180 per sec.
And the mini does 22.5/0.15 = 150 per sec.

To put it in context, a standard link gun does 225 per sec with weapon speed 50.

I see it now.
Why randomize the energy damage? The shockrifle isn't random...right?

btw: What is the reason for checking !Other.bWorldGeometry in DruidEnergyWeapon.TraceFire()?

The simple answer in because ONSManualGun does, and that is the basis for the DruidEnergyWeapon TraceFire code.
Basically if you are firing against a wall there is no point going through all the complex damage calculations and the exp sharing code.

The Hatter: …which is just the case with mine.

So any thoughts on implementing a raptor or manta into the game or has this already been discussed before because i don't recall.

Anyway if this has already been discussed, another idea for those open space maps could be the human space fighter or the skaarj space fighter, is it possible for this to be put into the game and spawned by higher level engineers? at least for those open space maps...

Or perhaps the Cicada, it could possibly be another alternative?
Well these are all aerial vehicles at least the ones that i know of

There is also this other land vehicle called the "Sprinter" that i found (kind of like the Toilet car just a little fancier) , but dont know if you guys would be interested. Oh well here's the link:

they took the flying vehicles out because on certain maps they were being used to go where they should not, like way out in space,, or under a ledge, ect, althoe they were fun, they were taken out for good reason
