well I'm not cutting down the poly count on this on so you'll need a good vid card
quick knock up of the skin got the eye working ,toned down the chrome a bit
going to try and make him larger tho the weapons look to big next to him

EDIT probably taking a break on this Baby should be here any day now (suppose to be two days ago actually)
so am thinking of throwing together a tutorial for converting models shortly will be pretty basic tho

What is the final poly count anyway?
How do you think he will look with a santa hat?
Also, what is LOD?

polycount is 5900ish
LOD=level of detail (how detailed a model is at different distances)
an in game setting the higher the setting the farther away it maintains its' detail

When you get it into Unreal Ed, you can adjust LOD settings. If you load the the other cylon (I edited the LOD on that one) and adjust the settings to approximately the same it should work well-in game.

I can work on it and I'm looking forward to using it, but skinning it will take longer than the last one. I probably won't start on it until after the holidays, and I have much less free time at the moment.

no rush my friend my new son should be home from the hospital today and Christmas is around the corner
so take your time I'm just happy you said yes can't seem to master this part of Unrealed ;the nuances of skinning/shaders with it

Hi ya road kill
I run a server and i was thinking of asking one of my admins to make this guy into a monster for invasion. This Battlestar robot is really cool was thinking of putting him on a wave with a bender boss. What a team they would make lol..
Basically i'm asking for permission to do so, since its your skin.
oops... its the BattleStarGalacticaCylons2 skin for ut2k4..

I'd be honored was considering making both my cylons monsters for ut3 invasion eventually. but a ut2004 invasion cylon would be cool I'm fine with that , give me a link to your server when/if you get it going would love to see him in action

Sounds cool. Please post the mod files here too. I like playing invasion in single player, and if you were to add some cylon voice clips to the monster, it would be even cooler.
