being at the computer during the time was half the battle. Getting in the full server is the other half

I've got to start checking the forums over the weekend. I totally missed it.

Would it be difficult to make this a Sunday tradition?

If so, would it also be possible to schedule it another hour or two earlier? 9pm is my bedtime.

I have been between places these past few months so I havent been at my computer on a regular basis. Almost none.

But I got it all moved over on Saturday, now I get to hook up the Cable Modem this evening and see if it all works at the new place.

So needless to say, I missed it too and would have liked to play. But being with the new woman, I dont know what my playing schedual will be. I will only get a few hours a week I'm sure. Hope it was a good frag for all.

That 2k3 session was intense! I can't imagine playing invasion like that all the time, but I definitely like Boingo's tradition idea.

I also second the motion for a suggestion of considering the possibility of allowing the potential of a 2K3 round to be weighed as a feasible notion to keep in mind for a weekend tradition.

I actually enjoy 2k3 invasion more than the normal invasion, even with the level of the latter bumped. Of course, I also loved being one of the few who would at times be left standing at the end of wave 32, Dru and Llach being some of the others. And this was back in the pre-RPG days... no medics, no vorps, no piercing, nada. I may just have to bring my server up with 2K3 INV on to give it a try again sometime.

BTW Dru, was the level on the 2K3 the other night the same level we are now playing, the old level, or what?? I will say that even with a vorp 11 shock, I was getting hammered from about wave 29 on, and loving every second of it. Gonna have to get used to it again if we make it a regular occurrence.

It was on Novice, the lowest level

I also suggest it becomes a weekly thing. Though would it be too much to ask it be held on Saturdays rather than Sundays? Because when its Sunday there, it's Monday here, meaning I would be missing it. It's why I missed it last Sunday...

But Saturday's date night! You know, for all those dates I go on...

Anyway, it's a bit of work to get it together for every week, but since it's so popular we can put it on once a month, I think.
