throw your old weapon before you get to the spawn location.
It's been said before but well worth reminding people.

3) Be quick about it. If a junkie offers a weapon and then acknowledge that you won the weapon. Drop everything and go get it. Don't wait until some later time at your descretion. Unless it's a major wave (Titan waves, money waves, etc), chances are the person giving you the weapon is wasting their fraggin' time for you to get there to get the weapon. It's kinda rude for you to waste their time and continue to frag because you want the experience and hang them out to dry. Communicate with the person and make yer way there as quick as possible. Of course there are bugs in between and if you get caught in a nasty area, just let the person know. 9 times out of 10 the person handing it out will come to you and help, then give the weapon out
That's funny, I had someone who wanted my freezing LG, but asked me to run across FACE3 to give it to him because he was afraid to go out. And even then he wasn't where he said he'd be.

You mean I really am important? How I feel when I'm drunk is correct?

Thats not me. I have joined the DC server a couple of times but I help run the Frag Fest server. I have helped Druid with ideas and beta testing of things but generally when I speak of gaming and the RPG mods I am referring to our server which runs an invasion RPG setup.

No way that would happen twice for me with that player.
I really like to help folks out and I will so long as they are willing to help themselves too. If somebody says they want a weapon but are low on health, I'll do my best to get over there and do what I can, then give up the weapon. But I don't do curb service for those that expect me to.

One recommendation for upcoming adrenaline junkies. Once you have Loaded Artifacts 3, go for denial 3. It really does make a huge difference.
Before getting denial 3 life was like this:
Spend huge amount of time and adrenaline improving weapons. Die. Start again with nothing. And the latter waves you could forget about - spawning in waves 12+ with no weapons gives a life expectancy of around 15 seconds. If you like spectating then fine.
Now, with denial 3, spend the early waves building up weapons. Then it doesn't matter if you die, because you respawn with them. And are immediately back in the action. It really does make a big difference.
And the game play is different too. Pre-denial 3 there is a temptation to hang back from the action because you lose everything when you die. Now, you can get back in the thick of it.
It was bad enough getting killed by monsters. But when you have worked hard building up your weapons only to get 'redeemer-killed', it could be a bit annoying. Now, I am much calmer about it. And that has to be good.
(But don't buy denial 1 - save up and buy denial 1 & 2 together, then 3)

I beg to differ. I recently swithed my char to adrenaline, and if anything I'm much more aggressive, mainly because I can get enough adrenaline to sustain triple damage for more than a few seconds. With triple damage and even a mediocre weapon (say, vanilla flak 3 or something), I find I'm taking down more titans/queens/warlords than ever. (The other day I had a vorpal 10 avril w/ triple and wave 16 titans were dropping like nalis :lol
And I don't even plan to get denial, because I get d/c every 8 waves or so anyways. The way I figure it, everytime I respawn I have a decent chance at a usable weapon. And if not, I go shield things.
