Well, the kind of entertainment varies depending on what age you are. All night karaoke is always fun; just make sure to not let any of your guests sleep so they'll be sleep deprived in the morning and be suggestable enough to think your singing didn't completely suck last night.

step 1: take a shot of vodka
step 2: see step one
but seriously... kinda depends on age, location, etc. If a bonfire is possible and legal, keeping it going all night can be fun in itself, with the occationaly pork and beans thrown in the fire when no one is looking (have fire extinguishers nearby). Fireworks would go hand-in-hand with that.
If your area is limited to the indoors then... kinda depends on what everyone likes doing. You could have some kind of movie marathon. Or go to the local walmart and stock up on some cheap nerf weapons. There are plenty of other games but they require the first two ilnes of this post

Sardines! Kinda dorky, I know. I've always liked Hide & Seek type games. Or TPing.

Aw, Sardines... great game, we get about 10 people to play when I go up to the Adirondacks, so when its pitch black out we do that or capture the flag. As for old games to play, my favorite party game was NHL Hitz 2003... I'm not a big fan of hockey, but the game is so much fun. Six people at a time just trying to hit each other through the glass and there's mini games! But I'd have to sugest a multiplayer game, I've had a few nights off just playing Halo with friends with a link cable to get 8 people playing. It was fun, but the time seemed to go bye really fast those nights.

well I don't own an xbox, so if I play its usually with lots of people. It is fun, but even with the updates I got tired of it, probably because it became associated with no sleep for me, hehehe. But that's a good option especially if you can access two tv's and a link cable
