Is there some sort of secret to acquiring healing weapons?

Ok, for the entire time i have played on the DC server, i have only acquired a healing weapon like twice and they were both when i was a low level (like below lvl 30). Every other time i have recieved a healing weapon, its been from someone who died with one, and dropped it and i picked it up (then i just usually end up handing it back to the original owner).
I have NEVER spawned with a healing weapon for as far back as i have had loaded weapons. No, im not really desperate to get healing weapons, but i would just like to know if there is a reason as to why i have virtually NEVER had a healing weapon, EVER!

There's no secret. It's totally random

healing weapons are just a bit rare compared to other magic weapons,
it is mostly set in 3 levels..
the higher the number the more common it is,
healing is a 1, so it is quite the rare weapon

are you saying you need to be 'lucky' to get a healing?

So if I have my lucky shield gun wielded and run over a spawn point..... I will have a better chance to get a healing weapon? Oh wait... does this work for vorpals and vampirics also?

and you just have to be lucky to get one ==> not have a lucky weapon !

If you look at all the weapon variations, misfortune weapons are the rarest and there always seems to be someone running around with them. How's that for horrible irony?
