Hello:
I just purchased a new keyboard. http://www.zboard.com/us/ and would like to hear from anyone that has one. The typing keyboard is smaller to type and hard for a poor typer like me. I already typed this message out and lost around 150 words of typing by pressing the wrong key, URRRRR.
One of the reasons I purchased the board is for the game keypad it is larger. I was using the arrow keys on my very old keyboard and my hands were scrunched up on one side.
If you chat to me and I do not respond it is due to me looking for buttons so I apologize in advance. Sometimes I put the caps lock on by mistake and I am a lot slower.
I like the larger keypads but do not like the pre-set numbers for the guns. They are the same as in the game but I would like # 1 to be the Flack and so on.
If anyone is using the board I would love to hear from you as I want to assign keys for myself and would like any tips on the good, bad and ugly. I have at least 10 days to get used to the set and if I don?t I can take it back for a refund.
Please excuse any typos and poor grammar, as I do not have the time to check on this or the patience using the new board. I really needed a new board and this was on sale for $50.00 so I thought I would give it a try.
Any tips, help suggestions would be appreciated.
Yvonne

That's a cool looking keyboard. I've never seen one of those before.

I saw one of those made for BF2. I can't part with my ole buddy. The once black area under the keyboard is turning white from everyday use haha

I'm not the wizard on this stuff, but I think you could switch the aliases (numbers for weapons) in the .ini file.
Maybe one of these guys that are gurus with UT's ini file could help you out some so you don't mess it up =)
That's the part that always scares me about messing with the ini file.
We should all pitch in and get Kitty a Nostromo =)
*wink*

i use the keyboard that came w/ my VPRmatrix. but i really want one of these http://www.daskeyboard.com/ it has no incriptions on the key's, and all the keys are individually weighted, so the the farther you have to reach for it, the less force it takes to push it down. from what i hear, it's really comfortable

Fry's rocks. We just started to see the return of Fry's out here in Chicagoland, last year we poured the concrete for the new Fry's which is about the size of six Best Buys.

We do not have a Frys in Canada is it a discount store?
I am starting to get use to my new keyboard it is nicer than my old one.
How many people are using the game pad and is it better than a keyboard.
My keyboard cost $50.00 Canadian it was on sale. My concerns are customer service as this is the second time I have purchased this keyboard. The first time I had issues with a broken keyboard (Board 1) and missing parts in the box (Board 2) and an arrogant technician. When Board 1 would not light up I emailed for help just to make sure I had it plugged in right as the board would not work or light up. I mentioned that the instruction book noted that the board should work (type) when plugged in without installing updates. The Technician ignored my questions and wanted me to go into my BIOS and do some other crazy things that were time consuming and dangerous. I told the tech I could not type on the ZBoard to do some of the things he suggested and asked him if I had a dead board as it would not type and light up. He still would not tell me the board was dead and insisted on me running tests. I emailed him back and forth several times and got mad and asked for the Bosses email address and name. I told him I want someone to answer my questions. He would not give me the Bosses name and email address. I took the board it back to the store and got another one. The store techs knew it was dead right away. I took a second one home and there was missing parts in the box no fault of the company but of the store. This was the final straw I took the keyboard back as I had spent too many hours of frustration.
Three days ago I sent an email to the company and have not heard from them.
The first time I emailed I must have joined a Group, as I need a password they have my email address. When I tried to get my password by filling out the pertinent information nothing happens I get a dead page. So I emailed the Server person and they have not responded to my password dilemma. Maybe it is the same tech that I told off for giving me unprofessional service for not listening to the customer?s questions.

Thanks cpl! I really wanted to put a quote from that other website you showed me, but it's just not clean enough...it's so bad that I can't even try to clean it up without getting banned!
