Upgrading Monster assault

Just wondering if we could go to a harder level for monster assault.

Or add more monsters.

It doesnt make worth it when alot of people or people with high levels get in. Because its too easy. Just breeze right through it.

I like to play it but just needs to be harder

Re:Upgrading Monster assault

Based on my experience with the first 10 levels, I'd have to say just bumping up the difficulty level would probably be a bad idea. However, if there were some way to have the server change difficulty level each time it changes the map based on the average level of the players connected, that might work.

Or maybe just make it go up whenever deeds connects.

Just my two cents :?

I guess I didn't initially notice the assault game mode part of the topic but even in that case I'd say my above comment still stands.

Overall I think adjustments based on level in any game type would be a good idea.

It would proabably just go off the first player in the game or you would continuously... have to be runing a check to see if a higher level player entered after the map started and then change the difficulty mid map which would most likely be a bad thing.

Re:Upgrading Monster assault

The difficulty of monsters is based on the lowest level player alive. If however, you are referring to making the difficulty map-based, unfortunately Unreal is set up in such a way that you have to configure it by game-type (such as Assault). Thus, you will get the same number of monsters on Torlan as you would on Red Planet, as long as both were played in the VINV type.

Re:Upgrading Monster assault

certain assault maps are too easy no matter the level, such as convoy and glacier. this problem is not apparent when you play Thrust, high rise, robot factory, or confexia. just keep in mind what map your playing.
