Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

what i want to know is, is this game worth buying for my PC?. once i buy it i cant get rid of it, seeing as you cant return or sell used pc games.iv got a hard time getting money so spending 50 bucks on a game im not sure im gonna like isnt something i really dont wanna do unless there are enough people telling me its worth it. iv been told by a few people that its a great game but iv also been told it isnt very fun. im currently playing Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition on my xbox but its kinda boring and the graphics arent to great.

2 friends here at work bought it when it came out and loved it, I think. My advice to anyone wanting to buy and PC game they are not sure of, see if there is a playable demo or preview you can download from either the Publishers website or a place like Download.Com or Shareware.com...by CNET. Will give you a chance to see how it plays on your machine and if it holds your interest and wont cost you a dime.

I have it for PC and have enjoyed it immensely. I've played it for about 50 hours and still haven't touched the main story line. The game is massive and gorgeous. I would recommend it, but you may still want to look for that demo.

Nope, you can steal in this one.... my main character is a ranger/thief... he's quite good at not being caught O:)

Good site! Has just about anything you could want for that game, except how to mod your car to be a rolling Elder Scrolls shrine. But I'm sure you could find someplace that will do it for you. B-)

Problem is, I couldn't find a demo for Dragon. Did find the game for less than $10.00. If memory serves me correctly, there was never a demo released for IV.

I'm almost sure there is one. I may even have it on one of my CDs I get from Maximum PC. I'm looking now on other game related sites that might have it...but so far, they only have movie like trailers..

Hmmmm...perplexing. All I can find are the 6 or 7 movies they produced. I guess maybe since it was released for the 360, they never made a playable demo for the PC (would make the 360 players left out I guess). I will search at home also to see if what I have is a playable demo, or a series of the movies.

thats good to hear. stealing in morrowind was always fun. i would have been dissapointed if i wouldnt have been able to. ~~~ all i found were mods and the like couldnt find any demos for the life of me. i went on youtube and found some videos. it looks alright. i think i'll buy it once i get the money.
