For widescreen gamers...

Ok, for those of you with widescreen monitors like me (and fire :) ) , here is a VERY helpful site. It lists a huge variety of games and has information on how to alter some games to support widescreen that by default do not support widescreens (like UT2k4).

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

Anyway, incase you cant be bothered looking through the site, this is how to alter UT2k4 into a widescreen ratio:

- Open the file "ut2004.ini" in the system folder
- Find the lines "FullscreenViewportX=" and "FullscreenViewportY="
- Change the values of these 2 lines to your native resolution, so for 19" widescreens of a native res of 1440*900, it would be "FullscreenViewportX=1440" and "FullscreenViewportY=900"
- Save and close ut2004.ini and open the file "user.ini" which is also in the system folder
- Find the lines "DesiredFOV=" and "DefaultFOV=" and change their values to 100
- Save and close user.ini and enjoy UT2k4 in widescreen glory
