my wife got it for me . my birthday. :)) a fun game, but being a new b i be :oops: if any of yawl play it. place me on your friend list, dirty deeds r. or post your name here and ill put it in my friend list :D :D . its a fun game. if im not here, at home with my dc family.ill be over there. i have to play it some or ann said ill get me a weedeater next year for my birthday. :-o

I have a couple of accounts. Haven't spent any time playing it in a long time. Got it before UT. I would be happy to twink you or help/rush you through a tough spot. My main characters name is Sturm Ruger. Catch me on DC and we can pop over to drop you some platinum or whatever.

i play the game on a regular basis and i am planing on getting faction the day it comes out. my main character is Hegemon Achilles and if i spelled that wrong i also play as Magnius Inferno cant wait to see u in game and ill be glad to help when i am on.

thx peeps i just got the game for my grandson today, his brithday is one day befor mine. sour_grape came in just as a storm was coming up on me and i had to get out. ywals on my friend list :D :D it well be fun . i have one guy in pvp and 2 over the wall. and 1 in pre. to help my grandson. hope to get the game to hem this week or next. later :D :D

Boingo let me try this game out. I don't know what is going on. Just tried it for about fifteen minutes. Then she tried it out for a few minutes. Her character is Boingo_Babe....I think that is what it was. I can't remember what type of a character she is. I remember I was fighting with a wand or something. It was shooting stuff out. I don't know what I'm talking about. :-@

LOL! Cham, you crack me up! But I gotta tell ya, I picked it up about a month or so ago and I don't know what I'm doing either! LOL I haven't had time to play a whole lot, but I did find DD and joined his guild, which was cool! (thanks DD!) But I still am only doing quests and slash and grab stuff, not really sure what I "should" be doing.

I have no idea what you just said :) . I was just running around looking like I knew what I was doing. I saw a red dot on the radar and figured it was something to fight, so I did. I will try it again sometime. I still haven't tried it since the first time. Oh, boingo's name isn't what I thought it was on the guild wars game. I don't remember what it is, however.

Thanks Dirty! Boingo would probably do that. She doesn't get on her computer that much anymore because of her new job. Poor girl works later then she used to. I don't actually have the game myself, I just tried it out one night when we were both sitting here. I just wanted to see what all the hoopla was about. It looked interesting except I had no idea what I was doing. Instruction booklet was about six inches away from me, but did I read it?

Hey, if you start pre again I may join in... I kind of want to try out a Necromancer out and if others are going to play pre I may try it... it's always fun to play with others in Pre! edit: I'm think of starting either an elementalist or a necromancer.... any suggestions on choosing either or? I remember seeing the elementalist and thinking how cool it was, but I'm looking for a more powerfull character to play than my ranger.

Can any of you explain to me the differences in the guild war expansions? I was thinking about playing guild wars but I have neither of the three titles that are out as of right now. Can I purchase Nightfall or Factions and receive the whole game and classes minus the world content on the other games? What are the advantages of each? I'd rather not have to go out and pay $100 for all three. Even if there is no subscription fee ;) Last question! Are there raid type mobs in which you must have around 30-50 people in your guild to take down such foes, perhaps dragons like in EQ & EQII? Thanks in advance!

There are a few differences in the three continents. http://guildwars.com/theworld/ Will explain some of the details of the storyline for each. In Factions the Assassin and Ritualist were added and can only be created through Factions. In Nightfall the Dervish and Paragon were added and can only be created through Nightfall. Sorry are no raid mobs for the campaign. I believe the highest party number is 8. Also there is a true expansion coming out towards fall that requires a maximum level character and Guild Wars 2 has been announced.

no :( but i like it the best cuz you can get heros as side kicks and can run there skill bars. then if u like it well enought you can get 1 or 2 and take your toons with you:)

Yup, it comes with all the base classes like Elementalist, Mesmer, Ranger, Necromancer, Warrior, and Monk along with the two bonus classes that are added into the expansion.

Just set up my "new" 3 year-old PC (booo Arenanet! make a mac version!). Been playing Guild Wars for a couple of days. I'm an elementist/ranger by the name of Soven Eklin. Still trying to get the hang of it, so if you see me trying to engage a tree stump in battle, just shake your head and have pity on me.

hahaha, I was thinking of that combo as well. My first choice is usually a bard in similar games but I thought i'd try something different this go around. I hope i can stand not being in the front lines. Do you have a mac pro or mac book pro echo? Once leapord comes out, it will have built in bootcamp allowing you to play guild wars & UT3 on it.

guild wars was fun, untill i beat all expansions within a week., kinda stuck around to see what the game had to offer,decided it wasnt worth the time,but thats only me. i crave adreneline pumping action. once i learned about the unkillable war monk in pvp my own template,i never shared it and i see its still not in the wiki template lists ..MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA so thats where all the old regs fled to? lol.

well i found GW first before UT have all four campaigns and beat all but prophecies... a little too boring for me compared to d other three... so i started running shiro and got prestiege armor and unique weps for all my pve chars... den found UT... i wuz a build maker as well... wid all d extra money i wuz bored so i formed my own private guild
