Who here is an X-man fan??

I just saw the trailer for the movie, and let me say WOW!!!! Its all types of crazy, its amazing, just form the trailer you can see that mass chaos and awesome fight scenes are in this movie. Big X-Men fan for about 17 years. The X-Men movies have been fantastic so far, and I'm looking forward to this one as well. Glad to see Phoenix being addressed. Should be cool, and I hope they can keep the series going.

on a very different note, this (relatively old) trailer has increadible ad placement in it (mercedes cars/amblem in 4-5 shots). all are placed in very carefully and some look obvious when you stop each frame. for some reason that's how i remember it from the last time i saw it. will be a good movie.

Only thing is that its just Angel, not ArchAngel. Angel (I think his real name is Worthington) doesn't become ArchAngel until he has a run-in with Apocalypse.

Got that right. If you've ever seen the old X-Men cartoon (the original I mean), you'd have a sense of the sequence of events that the movies will most likely take.

yeah, I was a major fan of x-men when I was a kid so I'm real familar with the story line, I guess I just missed the change in Angel :oops:

Their is gonna be another movie??? because I got all upset because the title of this one is "The Last Stand" I beleive.. But its awesome if thiers more to come!

I think the success of the X movies is that they stick with the book and the characters. Too many times has a comic book movie been made by some director that feels they have a better idea for the character then 30+ years of story telling already in place. (i.e. "The Hulk") You would think with the trend of not writing scripts for TV (survivor etc, et al, ad nausium), that comic movies would just pull scripts from the thousands already written. Opps, I think I ranted :D my 2 cents

Well they included a hint of the coming of the Pheonix in X2, remember Jeans eyes when she was uses her psychic abilities? The seemed to look like a fire was in them.

Also at the end of X2 when she got swallowed up by the water there was a shadow of a pheonix under water when they were panning out. Really cool subtle hint. And if they are gonna do a bit with Pheonix I would like to see the Silver Surfer make an appearance.

I hope they make more, I want to see Jubilee, she was definitely my favorite back when I watched the original cartoons.

I was wondering if they were going to put jubilee in, Also i hope to see more of the students using powers in this movie. Also if uve seen the trailer then you saw that thiers a "big event". I wonder who it is

Jubilation Lee (Jubilee for those that can't figure it out lol) was in the first one. It was when Professor X was explaining the different students to Logan after him and Rogue had first been to the mansion.

I saw Juggernaut in the trailer, along with several others. Glad Colossus made the cut, and it will be good to see Beast in their.

i am no fan of X-man, but i did always liked the series, and also like the movies :) aint watching the trailer now, going to leave in a few min, but am going to watch it tonight when i get back home. :)

Jubliee has been in the last 2 movies but just as a background character with no lines (if I recall correctly about the lines). Beast was in X2 but you has to be looking at the right place in the bar scene to spot him.

Yeah Beast was in X2 as Dr. McCoy talking on a news show before he changed. It was in the background in a bar scene. As for the trilogy bit, I have not heard that and I've done a good bit of research into the movies. So I would say it's not true, but you never know.

I would hope not because i love these movies, and the name of this movie sounds like its the last which i REALLY really hope its not.. If its not i would really like to know what they are going to do in the 4th movie
