good idea eyesore.. you may have to take the new records and update your first post here when it changes, or when people suggest new records. that way we dont have to read the whole thread if it gets too big.  

A nice record for us redeemer/ultima fans would be for most corpses on one screen. Bug corpses don't count; that would make things a bit too easy. 

Doesn't this count? I definately don't always have the time to make my files smaller and them upload them to a website and then make a link to them. This is a pretty cool idea though!

How about a section for the most kills with a certian weapon? (ie. 204 kills with the shield gun, etc...)

I was just about to put those records down, but then i realised that you were on wave 32. On the DC server it only goes up to 16, so this suggests that it that game was on a different server. Although, having said that, there are some players who are regulars on the server (My$stic, Square, CptCrunch etc...) Could you please explain where it came from?

this came from a round of 2003 invasion. 2003 was different because it one, didn't have titans, and two it didn't stop at wave 16. I have not played much of 2k3, I can't recall which is the last wave for it, but that's why it's a much higher wave. I'd also have to agree with fodder that records should be kept at 16 waves, but I don't think it will matter too much because 2k3 has been taken out.  

If the player statistics page were still up, that could be possible, but now, a record like that could be difficult to prove. he only thing i'd have to go by is people's word. Unless you can find a way to prove it, it won't become a record. Sorry. :(

My my. Someones been busy. Thats 3 new records and one previous one broken. I get the feeling that they may be standing for quite some time... 

I wish you guys could have seen the old records when the server maintained stats automatically. Just about every weapon was well over 200, except assault rifles. That record stood at 72 for a long time. You should ask Dru if he still has the template for the stat tracker, it listed probably 100 different categories of kills , with weapons , vehicles, and different kind of monster kills. 

Just wanted to let you know that the link to the new highest team score is not working. Mabey if I knew what I ws doing this wouldn't happen. :shock:

DareDevil 270 I couldn't resize this without chopping off the score and my level with experience bar which is the only way you can tell this is me, except for the driver havin agent smith skin. Paint is a pretty crappy tool for resizing. Anybody no of a good freeware program for this?

Hey Eyesore, great work with the records thread, told you it was gonna be a lot of work. I think you should eliminate the lowest score record. This is kind of funny, but I don't want to encourage players to go for this record. I know that if I was playing in a game and this player was the last one alive I would kick them for not making an effort to play the game. Also I think this really kinda drives people to idle. So I would ask that you pull this particular record out of the list. Great work on this though, I really appreciate all the time you have spent on it, and I'm sure a lot of other players do as well. For pretty much the same reason (players not doing their share) I would eliminate the longest link. Past two links it doesn't provide any extra boost, or so I'm told. I, too, think this is a great thread. I check it a lot. It gives us all something to "shoot" for :wink: .Keep up the good work Eyesore!

9 actually... I'm quite suprised about how difficult it is to get high deemer and ion painter kills. I guess i need to aim more for queen children bugs rather than titans... 

By the way, please be mindful when posting screen shots with mature language turned on. The only reason I'm allowing the combo (award) and holy (award) kill messages is because, just like the taunts, you can disable them by disabling mature language. Please blank out any mature words before posting your screen shots.

Don't take this the wrong way, but does being the highest level player mean you are the best player? To me it just means he's been around longer than most. I'd like to see a match where the top ten or twenty players compete against eachother with none of their skills. Or maybe a whole day where nobody has or achieves skills. That will separate the men from the boys.

Of course you do. But one of the beams is coming from the person taking the screen shot and so that perspon is not in the actual picture which makes only 13 people in the shot :) Biggest link chain refers to the number of people linked, he is certainly linked. Biggest group photo refers to the number of people in the shot, the person taking the pic is not actually in the shot. 

I'd be willing to take it over, at least for a couple months. What does everybody think? I could just copy and paste the existing records into a new thread and update with the latest stuff. Shouldn't be that hard. :)
