sometimes a little self conciousness can be a good thing.. If i wasn't a little self concious i'd probably be more outta control than Paris Hilton on her drunkest night! But instead, the little self concious part of me helps me look inside of myself a lot more than the average person. I know and understand every aspect of myself because of it. So in conclusion, I personally would rather be a little self concious than overly confident! keeps some of us grounded.... just my opinion

ok, here goes, Just so ya know, parents rarely become gamers, but gamers often become parents. It remindes me of a few years ago, by (ex)wife had ordered a rarer boomslang. Yea, you don't have to tell me all the silly things a guy is willing to do to make his girl happy. Just a few silly minutes of his time can be worth years of a memory that can make you smile so big when remembered...for example, the first Halloween I knew BigDaddy, my girlfriend and I decided to get him a costume for the party at the club. Let's just say he wasn't the prettiest 6'8 girl there in his zip-up bright blue cocktail dress! :)) Ahhh....I love memories.

The picture was from last june. Plumpers is actually a friends cat I was taking care of while he was on his honeymoon. This is my furry family. When they moved to Seattle a couple of months back, she was about 10 pounds and still had a good ways to grow. 

Spacey, I think I recognize you from a ren fair I went to last year. Any chance you live in central / northern Florida? My girlfriend and I (unfortunately she doesn't play UT, gets motion-sick) were at a fair (I forgot the name, but I'm pretty sure it was in Gainesville) talking to some of the SCA people for half an hour or so, and your face looked really familiar. Oh, and the picture I'm referring to is on page 7 of the forums, in case you were wondering.

I was in Appleton for a week at the PGI convention in August, beautiful town with some real good food. Went to USAIR up in Shawano while we were in the neighborhood. We stayed at a hotel that was technically in Green Bay I guess. Very southwest by the airport.

OK... I am fulfilling what I said I would do, and have some pics of me in SCA settings. I am not going to put the actual pics up here... I have a whole album of selected pictures...and drum roll please... two videos... I will share with all of you. (Hey Jax... you are now behind and owe me some pics, and perhaps a video or two up here... LOL) I have not yet added comments to the photos... I need to get the database which will hold those setup before I do that. But these are from a fighter practice here in Pittsburgh, aka Da'Burgh or SKA "The BMDL" or "Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands" on May 3rd, along with an event held at the home of our local Baron and Baroness this past weekend. But, I have them up in a small photo album, with thumb nails (the videos have a thumb with a quicktime logo on the thumbnail). The videos are a bit large (try 21MB, 34MB and 90MB) and shakey (my fiancee did not have a tripod). But hey... there they are, showing me, without my fighting tabard, which I would be wearing over top of my armor but for the fact that it is lost someplace in boxes over the past year. And there is even a pic I do not like my grin in... but... Also, I will point you to the site which our Baroness has put up about their house... you have got to see it to believe it, which is why we held the event there this past weekend... it is 6000+ sq. ft. house designed like a real castle, built with modern materials. There are all sorts of neat things about this place, which even has parapets from which archers shoot. In the case of this past weekend, they were shooting combat arrows, which are made with either shafts of 1-1/4" plastic pipe or fiberglass shafts, with padded blunt heads which have gone through extensive testing... they still leave a nasty bruise if you are too close and not lucky, but it allows us to do some neat things... such as having the archers try to score points hitting us, while we try to deflect the arrows. And a bit of explanation about the first video... we were both fighting with two swords, which is a style which is prone to double-kills, and so we refought until I finally managed to kill him without him killing me.... Haha way to be melodramatic! But I did get a giggle from the mirror comment ;)) I enjoy seeing everyones pictures =) Even though by the time I'm in the game, I don't at all remember whos pictures I had looked at haha. Except for Pyro, Boingo, Clueless, and Untamed... I mean they're pretty much only girls that play. It's hard to get them mixed up with anyone else =P

I am from orange count calif. native of there by 5 generations, but i lived in iowa for about 15 yrs off and on more on than off lol but i lived in marshalltown. almost smack dab in the middle of the state.
